Trufa
Junto a su hermana Bambú fue adoptada en 2017 al necesitar un hogar, además de ayudar a la abuelita Sugar a combatir la soledad que Vegan dejó al fallecer.
Trufa tiene el pelo negro, patitas, tripita y punta de la cola blanca. Algo desconfiada y escurridiza, pero en el fondo le gusta jugar al pilla pilla con nuestras manos.
Pensábamos que la convivencia con Sugar sería imposible, porque los primeros meses en los que intentábamos que en un espacio neutro se conocieran y aceptaran, acababan siempre peleándose. Finalmente lo conseguimos con mucha paciencia y algún mordisco entre ellas, pero luego fueron inseparables.
Ahora Trufa tiene algo más de 3 años, lo que la hace en una rata muy anciana, con tumores por la modificación genética que a lo largo de la historia han sufrido las ratas para ser “domésticas”, pero con cuidados paliativos su vida está siendo lo más tranquila y saludable posible.

Now Trufa is a bit more than 3 years old, witch means a really elder rat, she has tumors as a consequence of the genetical modifications to make rats "pets", but with palliatives cares her live is being all quiet and healthy it can be.
